Well this is it. I'm almost done. On Friday I will be an official High School graduate of 2007, preparing to continue my education at the University of Colorado at Boulder. I'm pretty sure I've cried around 9 times just in this past week. It's just the weirdest feeling I've ever had. I'm not saying I'm not excited, because I am so excited and ready for this new chapter. But it's going to be, just so completely foreign to me, the whole concept -- moving out of a state I've lived in for 12 years, and moving in to a state I've never visited for more than 2 days. But I'm ready. Luckily I have a few safety nets -- my boyfriend is going to Colorado University as well, with a few other kids I know at least slightly.
I know it sounds cheesy or cliche or what have you, but everything is just going by really fast and I have absolutely no idea when it's going to slow down or how it's all going to end. But at the same time, I'm so ready for everything that I could possibly encounter.
As so I leave you with the words of Lord Henry Wotton(/Oscar Wilde), "Live! Live the wonderful life that is in you! Let nothing be lost upon you. Be always searching for new sensations. Be afraid of nothing."
